Ghana’s First Blockchain Conference
Ghana’s Blockchain Conference November, 2017, themed “Blockchain Technology For Development” will be taking place in Accra.
Blockchain, the technology underpinning the crypto currencies is a global record of transactions in a digital ledger which is shared among a network of computers. It uses cryptography to allow each participant on the network to use the ledger in a secure way.
For the past several years digital currency and blockchain have been gradually gained acceptance in Ghana. It has reached the time where it is opportune for a conference for those who are familiar and working with the technology to come and share their work on the Blockchain crypto currency.
The conference will be bringing together several people across key industries for a day’s conference preceded by two days blockchain training from the 14th to 15th.
The one day conference will be presented in a series of top-level keynotes, interactive round table discussions, with focus on working together to influence policies favourable for blockchain development in the emerging blockchain ecosystem in Ghana. The conference will explore the industries that are set to be disrupted the most by this new technology, including; Financial services, Mobile Money, Music Industry, HealthCare, Legal, Government and many more.
